Unfortunately, many people believe that all vitamins are created equal and they settle for a familiar brand they can pick up at the drugstore, grocery store or buyer's club. The truth is, they may be doing themselves a serious disservice. A University of California Berkeley study published in Nutrition Journal in 2007 compared long-term supplement users and the results were very enlightening.
One of the many ways that supplements vary is in dissolving time. If the vitamin doesn't dissolve in the body at the right time, the nutrients can't be absorbed. There are actually some supplements that go in one end and come out the other pretty much in tact!!
