It's quite possible that if you adhere to a conventional allopathic medical philosophy, you'll be on a variety of medications during your lifetime; and often, especially as you get older, you'll be put on meds to counteract the ill effects of the original meds! Did you know that prescription drugs are a major health risk, ranking 4th as a leading cause of death?
Not long ago, I heard an all too familiar story from an old friend who felt that the various prescription drugs he was taking were interacting in a negative way and causing new health challenges leaving him feeling rather poorly and lacking the energy he needs to enjoy life. Hopefully, a change in physicians, to one who agrees that he's been on too many meds, will make a positive difference in his overall health and energy.
In my last post, I shared a video of Dr. Peter Gotzsche, MD, co-founder of the Cochrane Collaboration, about the overuse of prescription drugs. In case you missed it, I'm including it below along with three more brief videos from three different doctors who agree with Dr. Gotzsche and with mom!
